However, for small business owners, email marketing remains an indispensable tool. According to Forrester Research, 9 out of 10 marketers say email is their primary channel for generating leads.

In addition, B2B Marketing’s Email Benchmarking Report reveals more than half of email marketers use email for lead generation and nurturing, enhancing and building their brand, and driving sales. The study showed only 4% of that group say email is “not very important”.
